Russia’s Acron to increase output by 14% in 2016, 11% in 2017

MOSCOW, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer Acron plans to increase its commercial output by 14% in 2016 and by another 11% in 2017, Alexander Popov, chairman of the company’s board of directors, said on Tuesday in a conference.

“Investments in expansion of capacities and in construction of new capacities allowed our company to maintain the revenue and profitability at acceptable levels. For instance, this year we will increase the commercial output by 14% on the year, and in next year we will raise it by 11% more,” he said.

In 2014, Acron raised its commercial output by 4.6% on the year to 6.431 million tonnes. In January–September 2016, the company’s commercial output went up 13% to 4.7 million tonnes.
